- Hold the rope handle in your hands. Never put it around your neck or other parts of your body. If you fall, NEVER try to grab a dragging rope. |
- Look out for fallen riders. Leave as much space as possible between you and the fallen riders as you pass. To avoid collision, let go of the rope and let yourself fall. |
- Helmets must be worn at all times while participating in watersports activities. |
- If any obstacle, slider, or kicker is in your way and you can not avoid it or get too close to the shore/ dock/ tower let go of the rope and let yourself fall. |
- No metal fins are permitted on obstacles. Plastic fins smaller than 1.5 inches may be used. |
- If you fall, look around immediately to see if another rider or rope is approaching. Swim out of the course at once. Take your equipment with you unless it’s an emergency. Do not try to fend off a dragging handle. Just duck underwater for a moment to allow the handle or another rider to pass over. |
- Don’t approach or hit any obstacles if the landing area is not clear of other riders, swimmers, or other hazards. |
- Always remember to avoid risk to yourself and others. |
- If in doubt, drop the rope and let yourself fall. |
